Week 26 - 6 months!

01/09/16
Wow, 6 months this week already!
Well don't have that much to write about this week. We found a Family of 6 week!! They are interested but most important, they're Married officially! For those of you thatdon't  know, thats soo hard to find here in Argentina! They also came to a ward activity on Friday!! They couldn't come to church because they went on vacation, but we're exited to see what happens.

Also we started working with the family of some recent converts, and they acepted baptismal dates yesterday!!

Other than that, its just hot. hot. hot. and just a little more. hot.

I feel bad for not writing a ton, but thats my week, Work, Families and Heat haha
I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the New Year!! Write me if you want, I love hearing from you all!

Just a last experience, is the power of fasting and prayer. We prayed and fasted a lot this weekend to see some miracles. And at church we had 3 new people show up that we had never even seen before, and now we are starting to work with them!!

Anyways, have a great week, All of you!!
Love you All!!

Week 25 - New Years Eve

01/02/17
New Years in Buenos Aires: Drunks, Fireworks, Parties, Fireworks, and more Fireworks!

Seriously from 12am to about 3am on New Years, I didn't sleep...there were so many!! But it was so cool! My whole pension was just lit up by the lights of all the fireworks!
Other than that, heat. I've given up on being dry or non sweaty. Its literally 24/7 heat. Midnight to the middle of the day.
Anyways Happy 2017!!
So the only big news, is that my Padre, Elder Saez, after 3 transfers together, went home. It was weird seeing all the process of a missionary finishing their mission... haha
My new comp is Elder Santos. Elder Saez was the oldest missionary in the mission, 28 years old. Elder Santos is next at 26 haha. One elder told me im bound to be comp the the "Patriarchal Elder" (Or oldest elder) until I finish my mish haha. He is a stud, andI've  already learned sooo much from him, plus he looks like and can dance like Carlton from Fresh Prince haha. He's from Brasilia Brazil, and has been here 18 months.

I've gotten some questions about how is it going with sharing 30 Books of Mormon per week. Well because of our mission, all of the area South America South doesn't have Libros de Mormon... so we can't share that many for right now haha.. oops
One thing I absolutely love about my comp is his desire to find teach and baptize families. Already in one week we have found 5 families!! Im so excited for this transfer and the faith we have in our area!!
Love you all!! Have a great year 2017

Week 24 - Christmas

12/26/16
Well, I'm not gonna lie, It did not feel like Christmas!! Haha But it did rain, so I figure thats the closest to a White Christmas that I'll get. haha Also talking to the Family was awesome!!

Really I don't have much to say in this email, giving that I just talked to my Fam haha, but tomorrow is transfers!! Elder Saez is going home tomorrow, and Elder Santos is coming. I haven't met him yet, but I know he's coming haha

Really don't have all that much to talk about, CONGRATULATIONS, to my brother Jaydon and soon to be sister Kallie!! So excited to see you two take this next step in your lives!! Love you Two!!

I love you ALL!! one last Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!!

Love Elder Ryan

Week 23 - Repentance

12/19/16
Happy Birthday to my little brother Bryson last week!! Also Happy Birthday to my big brother Ronnie!! Love you Both soo much!

Really nothing much is happening here new. As for my investigators, they're all doing good, just stagnant. Lately we have 2 new investigators at church every week, but the problem is that the ones who came the week before don't come, so no one really progresses. Right now we are basically running across 4 areas trying to work, its been difficult. The most we are trying to do is maintain the investigators we have until we are no longer a trio.

I believe I've already mentioned our missions focus is "Repentance". This week while studying it and how its a process I realized sonething. It's not just a process for ourselves for different individual sins that we commit, its literally our whole lives. Repentance is the process from changing ourselves to be ready to meet God. Any effort you make to do things a little better is Repentance, not just trying to stop doing a specific sin. Our lives are processes of repentance, so that one day we will be able to recieve the blessings that we can reach after this life

I love you all soo much!! Have such a good week!
